The memory was bad and made the system break up. I tried to recover the system with the recovery option but the partition was corrupted so I wasn't able to install. I called Sony support and they didn't help very much.
I've had this laptop for almost a year now. Anytime i took it out people watched it with admiration. The Laptop has all the features i really needed in a PC--the size, the crisp clear resolution, the unique white colour, High data processing speed. etc. I would have given it a 5 star if it had a finger print reader.Expensive though,the price may be right for some people. I highly recommend it only to those who know what it is to have a fully loaded admirable PC.
IF I CAN BUY EVERYTHING SONY I WOULD.SONY HAS PROVEN TO ME TO BE BETTER IN MANY WAYS TO ALL OTHER BRANDS.
I am also having trouble with engaging the hard drive. THe product is a lemon. The CD/DVD does not work. I pondering what my next steps are to take in getting a refund or repair.I am totally dissatisfied with the product. Tom Linzmeier
Ugh im so frustrated but I really want this laptop. So we had to call sony and they sent out a tech to repair my keyboard, he did his thing, i was able to use the laptop for about a half hour,i shut it down adn when i strated it up, BAM the keyboard no longer worked. I want one that works. To me, since it was failed out of the box, i tyhink sony or Amazon should replace it. But that isnt the case sadly, sony said they can send someone out again and try to replace the motherboard or Amazon will refund us and we can use that towards a new computer. Too much to ask. I dont think so.
